Inishowen Peninsula

The most Northern point of the Wild Atlantic Way is Malin Head which was also the recent filming location for Star Wars VIII.

The 100 mile drive around the peninsula, (‘Inishowen 100’) offers scenic views of Lough Swilly to the West, including ‘Amazing Grace Country’, Lough Foyle to the East and the majestic Atlantic Ocean to the North, as well as many inland gems along the way.

Causeway Coast

What could be described as an extension to the Wild Atlantic Way, the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland has become a world famous destination. The drive gets its name from the iconic Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s first UNESCO Heritage Site. However, there are many more exciting attractions along the way from Derry ~ Londonderry to Belfast. Starting less than 15 minutes from Inishowen, this is a very worthwhile tour from Donegal.
