The journey to the top offers exciting breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal Bay and the Sligo mountains.

This replica of an Irish village offers a glimpse into daily life as it was in the 1700’s, 1800’s and 1900’s. Travel back in time to see how our ancestors lived in rural Ireland.

Killybegs Harbour, Co. Donegal

Killybegs Fishing Harbour

Killybegs is the largest fishing port in Ireland with some of the most modern fishing vessels to be seen daily. The area originally gets it’s names from the Gaelic ‘Na Cealla Beaga’, meaning ‘small cells’. This relates to the beehive shape cells in a local early monastic settlement.

Muckross Head, Co. Donegal

Muckross Head

Muckross Head is a narrow peninsula nestled against the slopes of a small mountain range. From the Wild Atlantic Way drive, there are breathtaking views of the headland and expansive beach.
